Role and purposes:
Selective postsynaptic α-receptor blockers, peripheral vascular resistance decreased, resulting antihypertensive effect. Expansion of the role of a coronary artery, renal blood flow less affected. For mild to moderate hypertension or renal hypertension; also applies to the treatment of intractable heart failure.
