What is eprosartan?
EPROSARTAN (Teveten®) helps lower blood pressure to normal levels. It controls high blood pressure, but it is not a cure. High blood pressure can damage your kidneys, and may lead to a stroke or heart failure. Eprosartan helps prevent these things from happening. Generic eprosartan is not yet available.

Indications:
Applicable to adult with or without aura symptoms of acute migraine treatment.

Pharmacological effects:
This product is a selective 5 - HTIB / ID receptor agonist. Through the excitement of intracranial vascular (including arteriovenous anastomosis) and the sympathetic nervous system on the trigeminal nerve of 5 - HTIB / ID receptor caused inhibition of intracranial vascular contraction and inflammation before neuropeptide release.
